Fitness Myth #1

“You have to look fit to be fit.”

I am a certified fitness trainer who weighs 85-90kg. I do not look like a typical fitness model with a toned-muscly body that we all constantly get bombarded on social media nowadays when we look up “fitness”.

My goal is to break misconception of fitness - “to be fit, I must look a certain way” - especially for women who have gone through pregnancy, post-partum and hormonal changes.

Fitness Myth #2

“Getting a PT is expensive.”

I believe that getting back in shape shouldn’t be expensive.

When I was going through post-partum depression, I was able to rediscover myself through fitness. At the time, I needed to experiment and learn everything on my own as I didn’t have the finances to hire a PT.

I know there are many women out there looking for more accessible ways to get in shape without going through the intimidation of gym equipment. That is why I founded FNN Fitness to improve the accessibility of fitness coaching for women.

“To lose weight, I must go on strict diet.”

Ask yourself “is this something you can do forever or just 5 weeks?”

As a certified nutritionist, when it comes to diet, sustainable change is what we should aim for. Often times I find restrictive practices back fire and many people revert to their old habits 10x worse.
